In addition to new standalone systems, we are experts at integrating controls for new equipment into your existing systems. R-S-H Engineering has evaluated, re-designed, and upgraded or replaced OEM instrumentation, controllers, computers, operator interfaces, networks, and software for process equipment and complete facilities. Our team can assess your current automation systems, recommend upgrades, and develop new software to improve reliability, optimize process control, and reduce operating costs.

R-S-H Engineering has extensive engineering experience in the design, programming and construction of control systems and electrical facilities that operate in hazardous areas. We have designed, built and commissioned high reliability, fail-safe alarm and control systems for the detection of fire, explosive/flammable vapors, and control of plant emergency shut down systems. These include burner management systems and emergency shutdown systems for kilns, ovens, and boilers (gas, coal, wood, and multi-fuel). Our engineers are knowledgeable of all applicable safety laws and guidelines to ensure your system meets all current standards. We have had extensive experience in configuring paper mill control systems to comply with BLRBAC and Factory Mutual guidelines.

Our engineers are recognized as experts in the automation and control field. R-S-H Engineers are frequent presenters at technical symposiums and user conferences. Automation and controls is an active and changing field. Our engineers are active in technical societies promoting peer interaction and the exchange of new ideas, collaborating with commercial and academic trials for new algorithms.
